Why is it so hard to find good quality things anymore?? It's so frustrating. I got this the other day and it is so flimsy and thin and I guarantee you after a few outings it will rip. My girl literally hangs like she's in a sack. Many years ago I got one of these (different company) and it was made so incredibly well, but also quite expensive. It's strong, sturdy and has thick padding, which I still have but it's too big for this current dog. I searched and searched for that company where I got the good one but cannot find it so I began looking for other choices. I cannot believe how poorly these available are nowadays. Yes, this one was cheap, so I'll keep it until it rips because I need something for now. Very disappointing.I have a 7 pounds Yorkie and it fits too smallDog - ChihuahuaWeight - 4lb LongFit - she is a little long but fits okay. I purchased the recommended size as they run small.The fit for human - it’s okay , I mean it’s plan back pack straps no padding but it’s not to bad. The — chest strap — or back strap helps a lot with the comfort.My over all — small dogs this will work well with not sure I’d use for larger small dogs though. I love this a lot, since she’s a teacup she’s really really small. I have 2 young kids under 5 so this is perfect for when I’m out and about and he’s cold.Just BOOP BOOP and she’s in ! And cozy OH SnaP I almost forgot !Fit again - the sides have zippers and the top has a little Velcro to keep the top covered a little. The little strap for the collar or harness is extremely weak. I would replace it asap. But other than that!It’s a winner winner chicken dinner ?!!I ordered this for my 2lb Toy Yorkie. After reading the reviews I decided to go up one size because everyone said they ran small. Shipping was fast and the material and quality was good but my pup falls straight to the bottom and you can’t even see his head ☹️ I should have ordered the small. So disappointed, hopefully he will grow into it but for now I have to order another one to carry him in. I won’t be able to use this for quiet a while.Works!Great customer service when I had a problem!Now everyone thinking of ordering let me give you a heads up.These run extra,extra small !!I read the reviews that they run small so I ordered a medium for my 6lb Chihuahua mix.It didn't fit him. It was way to small still.This company needs to take the time to change their size chart and make it easier to figure out! I'm scared to buy the large. And when I read the reviews where someone says it fits fine they took the time to measure around the neck and chest. I didn'tI assumed!Be very careful on what size you order for your dog so you're not extremely unhappy because it's also a long wait before it gets to you!My precious baby is 6 months old, just under 4 pounds. Bought this adorable backpack when I first brought her home, but the maiden voyage was just last week. I LOVED the way Olivia fit and she was thrilled to be able to just chill and take in 2 hours at the farmers market with mommy. It was great. The straps did start slipping a bit, but I just kept making sure zippers were secure, etc. They seemed to be, but I just kept feeling like she was slipping away, so I just kind of gently held her underneath, and all was fine until we got home and I inspected it. The zippers were working fine - the fabric of the bag itself was completely frayed and almost ready to give out (pictures don’t do it justice). The “what if” is frightening!! She would have just slowly slipped until the bag ripped through it would have sent her headfirst to the concrete. OMG! I loved the front backpack so much though that I did some research and read lots of reviews and we’re waiting for our new, sturdy (but not as cute) backpack to arrive. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!
