10x10ft Compact Lightweight Pop-Up Canopy Tent with Sun Protection - Portable Slant Leg Shelter for Beach, Camping, Picnics & Outdoor Events (Sky Blue)

I bought this to provide sun protection for plants and to occasionally use for picnics -- it has stayed up most of the summer on my south-facing deck in the midwest. Canopy is incredibly flimsy and tore in multiple places on the first take-down. I keep searching for a replacement but still have not found one. The material is flimsy and "plasticy" -- so traditional patch repair kids do not adhere to it. The answer in the Q&A to "check manufacturer website" for a new cover is not helpful... I'll try a few other repair methods this winter, but am not optimistic that this can be salvaged. In general, I recommend buying a higher-quality canopy that offers replacement covers when you first purchase it -- and buying 1-2 of those to keep on hand.So I brought the 10ft one I just loved it I love how when you set it up it's at a level where you can easily put the cover on and then adjust the legs to ur desired height then it comes with pins to keep the canopy in place in the ground so no wind takes it away perfect shading nice and cool I forgot how to take it down for a minute or I was so tired after the party I just forgot what to do but I'd buy this a hundred times sorry to the ones who had bad luck with theirsI purchased this canopy so that I would have a lighter weight shelter that is more compact for transporting. I had my doubts about this style canopy, because my others are commercial grade and I have had good success with them, when other vendors have opted for a different style and have had problems with them lasting even a season. The canopy was used twice. I took it to a market the third time and couldn’t get the lags to pull out properly. The legs are on 3 sections rather than 2, in order to keep the length of the tent shorter so that it can be packed in a backpack-style case. We’ll, on the 3rd go around, the Autumn section on 2 cog the legs came detached from the middle section. So there was no way to extend the entire leg to its full length. And there’s no way to get the metal section out of the tubing to reattach it. I guess I learned my lesson, and will avoid purchasing anything but commercial grade canopies in the future.The unit has above average UV Protection what disappointed me was when I tried the Backpack feature with Unit inside it literally just ripped apart. I will use it for this summer and get another one for next year. Would I recommend this product? The answer is "NO"....I may have had a dud. Mine is as broke right out the box. The extension poles got stuck in each other and wouldn’t release.Customer service was responsive and willing to do whatever needed.One use in so far. Easy to assemble. The 10x10 (8 x 8 of shade) is significantly bigger, taller and heavier than the 8x8 (6x6) model that I had. This is what I wanted, but note that you should consider if you really need the larger size. I am not sure how the canopy itself will ever get back into the bag while packing up on the fly at the beach. We carried separately.Picture shows canopy legs are in 3 sections. I was looking for something that would collapse smaller then a regular canopy so it would be easy to check when I fly. Canopy legs are 2 sections like a regular canopy. Used canopy twice when several of the side ways supports snapped in half.The frame was not constructed properly and it would not open all the way. My husband had to take apart the frame and drill new holes so we could get it open. Would not recommend.
