Proviz REFLECT360 20L Reflective Backpack - High Visibility Cycling, Running & Commuting Bag for Sports & Outdoor Activities - Waterproof Black Rucksack for Night Safety

I really want to like this backpack, I was looking for a lightweight backpack to use to commute to work on my bike. Needed to be lightweight, reflective or hi-viz, water proof or have a building rain cover and hopefully last for a while. It seemed to tick all those boxes. This backpack had great reviews on a number of cycling related websites and on this site as well. So I ordered it.I liked the compartments and the comfortable straps and breathable back which reduced sweating when I commuted. It is definitely hi viz and reflective.But after less than 2 months of use 51 days to be exact) it started to tear (see photos) where the main compartment met the smaller compartment. At not just at the seams but the actual nylon material just split. I only carried a small laptop and a few papers or magazines in it, never over-stuffed it and it was never rained on or got wet. It just failed.So I now own an Osprey backpack with a lifetime warranty which is almost as light (25 liter size) which is not unfortunately reflective nor does it come with a rain cover, though the company says it is water resistant, we will see.Bummer, I really wanted to like this one.Nice bag buy reflective matieral already coming off after not even a week. I bought this backpack to use in my bicycle commute and loved the idea of having a lot of reflective matieral on it. But come on, babying this thing for 4 days to and from work and it's already doing this...Using it on a dry day? Very efficient bag, love it.Used it today during the rain when cycling to work, didn't hold up. When I went to change into my work clothes at the end of my journey, I found they had wet patches on them, despite being inside the bag. Seems the water had leaked through. It does come with a rain cover in the bottom pocket and I'll admit it's my own fault for not using it, but just to let you know, without additional water protection over the top of this bag, it won't hold up in the rain. Other than that, very good.Love it ! Highly reflective / has waist clips / useful phone pouch which can be fastened to the straps / roomy pockets / bladder ready / on so many levels this bag is fab ! I am new to cycling so I researched proviz thoroughly ! I also bought one of their jackets too and if you’re wondering about the reflective properties , they’re quite ethereal ! The glow is incredible !This was a Christmas present for our Granddaughter and she is extremely pleased with it commenting particularly that it has so many pockets and a rain cover.Adjustable and lightweightGreat quality. Was a bit smaller than i imagined but should still be able to fit in a laptop. Shoes and jeans too might be a stretch!
