Purchased this backpack to bring on vacation with my 8-pound dog. We were planning to hike for most of the trip, but many of the parks we visited did not allow dogs on trail. We couldn't leave our dog alone at the house we were staying in, so this was the perfect way to bring him with us! He seemed content in the backpack (no resistance in getting into the backpack, and not much squirming around once inside), and the crossing straps were helpful in my own comfort. We wore the backpack such that my dog was in front of us. The largest source of discomfort for my dog was the opening where his head popped out - it seems the bobbing from my walking was bothering him, so I ended up putting one of my arms under his neck for most of our hikes. The pockets were large enough to hold a water bottle, his leash, and a little bit of food. Overall, a great design!We had ordered a medium size for our dog based on the measurements we found, upon arrival we realized it was too small for her to sit comfortably in it. Contacted the seller to see if we could exchange and they we're so helpful and went above and beyond! Sent us the new size no problem and even let us keep the old size! :) The product itself is made well and seems like very durable material. We have an 11 year old Pom-a-poo that's 8 1/2 pounds and she fits much more comfortable in the larger size! Would recommend just for the customer service alone.It had stuff inside so I’m assuming it was used previously without being washed but other than that, the dog likes it and it was comfy fir me to wear as well while hikingGot this on a deal, I thought it would be bigger. It’s kinda small, and snug. We have a 12 lbs chuaua and she barley fits lolgoodMy elderly dog can’t walk quite like she used to , this solved that!My mini-schnauzer is now 9 pounds and he fits fine in it. It's soft and comfortable. He didn't whine or complain. I just don't know about him fitting in and being comfortable in there when he's double the size. It's good for now.
